Doubt

Posted by FJREP under Poems on January 25th, 2008.

Sitting here thinking
Wishing i wasn’t aching
Feeling these emotions
Why cant i be free like the oceans

But whats the cause behind it all
What is making me fall
Think i know the answer
But Im keeping it to my self like a swift ballet dancer

Just hoping to be appreciated
But the only thing happing is depreaciation
Want to be the one you think about
Thats gonna happen ? I sincerely doubt.

Emotions

Posted by FJREP under Uncategorized on January 25th, 2008.

What are emotions ? Why do we feel them ? Do you ever wonder (like i am) why we are given emotions ? What would the world be like if we didn’t have, express and feel emotions ? These are all questions which puzzle my mind at the moment. They probably have simple answers which vary from person to person but still my head and heart pose this question to me. The only answer that comes to my head is that its only human to have emotions, but this really doesn’t answer my own questions of ‘Why’.

Leave some comments on what you guys think.

Australia v India, 4th Test, Adelaide

Adelaide calm sets up storming finish

So beautiful is the Adelaide Oval that you feel like forgetting this state of series, the quiet tension enveloping the ground and the sheer anticipation of one of the most important Tests in recent times. Sitting on the grassy banks, under the shade of the cathedral, it’s easy to forget what’s at stake

Best Poker Hands

Posted by FJREP under Uncategorized on January 22nd, 2008.

One of the keys to being a strong Texas Hold ‘Em Poker player is to know which hands are playable and which are not. This list of the top 10 best starting hands for Texas Holdem is a good place to start learning. Note that there is some disagreement over which hands are the best, and it depends on part on your skill level and style of play. And a great starting hand can turn bad quickly with the wrong community cards. This list reflects a consensus of the resources I trust the most.

1. Ace-Ace

A pair of aces, also known as “pocket rockets” (and sometimes “American Airlines”) is the best starting hand.

2. King-King

Second on the list is a pair of kings, also known as “cowboys” or “King Kong.”

3. Queen-Queen

A pair of queens, also known as “ladies,” rounds out the top three best starting hands for Texas Holdem Poker.

4. Ace-King (suited)

This is where people start to disagree. A suited ace-king, also known as “big slick,” is my pick.

5. Ace-Queen (suited)

The suited “big chick,” or “little slick,” the nicknames given to a pocket ace-queen, is next in line.

Waisale Serevi Vs William Ryder

Posted by FJREP under Sports on January 21st, 2008.

Waisale Tikoisolomoni Serevi, also known as the ‘Magician’ and widely considered the worlds greatest rugby sevens play of all time. Serevi is a major sporting icon in Fiji and the Rugby Sevens as a whole. He has represented Fiji numerous times in both the 15s and 7s. But he’s wide success came from the 7s where his athletic ability combined with agility and a mind for the game has taken him to the top. Although 40 this year, this Magician of the game still continues to play and coach, with no compromise either than a bit of lack of speed from his prime years.

A rising star, known by the name of William Ryder, is supposably the next Serevi of Rugby Sevens. Both similar in size and playing style. Ryder is a prodigy of Serevi who found him playing soccer where he noticed Ryders outstanding agility, speed and footwork. Ryder in his early 20s is said to be the next Serevi and continues to prove this statement right.

Following is the video comparing quite possible the two best players to ever play the game of
Rugby Sevens.
